“Funded future” Competition

Woman hand holding stack of coins money and glass jar with full of coins and graduates hat label as Education, education or savings concept.

Florida School Counselor Association informs that Sallie Mae, an “Official Partner in Responsibly Funding Futures” is offering graduates the chance to fund their “next” through our “Funded Futures” Competition. The contest will provide four deserving graduates $25,000 to help them along their path or journey whether that be starting a business, settling into their first job, or another important milestone. Graduating seniors can enter at Sallie Mae “Funded Futures” Competition now through May 24.

Sallie Mae is offering three free tools and resources, including the Scholarship Search Tool, College Planning Calculator, and Paying for College Resource.

In addition, be on the lookout for FSCA’s next research report, “Higher Ambitions: How America Plans for Post-secondary Education.” We uncovered some surprising data on how students and parents approach planning for college, their perceptions about the value of college, and if they still plan to attend given the impact of COVID-19.
