eSports is coming to Florida

FASA Special Announcement

Esports is the fastest-growing high school sport in the nation and Florida needs to be a part of it. Gaming is a passion for millions of students worldwide. It’s also a fantastic way to reach students in a space they want to be while rewarding positive behaviors and encouraging STEM-related skills. And it’s the only team sport that can be played while observing distance-learning guidelines.

That’s why FASA is proud to partner with PlayVS to bring esports to Florida. They provide an easy-to-use online platform to help schools build and manage teams, check schedules, and track stats. We understand this is a busy time of year for everyone, especially given the current challenges; fortunately, it only takes a few minutes to urge your schools to register.

Fall 2020 Season Dates:
● May-15 -Activation deadline to qualify for early activation incentive*
● Sep-21 -Preseason begins
● Oct-9 -Activation deadline
● Oct-12 -Season begins
● Dec-7 -Playoffs begin
